British boxer Anthony Joshua Discharged from Hospital in Nigeria Following Tragic Car Crash

The British boxer Anthony Joshua has been discharged from hospital, local government spokespeople stated on Wednesday night. The fighter was caught in a vehicular crash in the Lagos area on the 29th of December, a devastating event that resulted in the deaths of two of his close associates.

Healing from Light Wounds

The boxer had been receiving medical attention while recuperating from non-critical injuries, representatives confirmed on Monday. A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, confirmed in an update online that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to continue his recovery at home.

“The boxer and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to say their last goodbyes to his two deceased friends as they were being made ready for the journey back,” the official remarked.

A Tribute to the Fallen

Those who lost their lives were identified as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a conditioning specialist. Omotoso added that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and overcome with emotion over the tragic loss of his two close friends.”

His release from the hospital comes as the sports world had expressed sympathy for the star in the aftermath of the heartbreaking incident.
