The loved ones of teens unaccounted for after a devastating inferno at a establishment in a Switzerland's ski resort are facing an agonising period of uncertainty for answers and appealing for any details about their loved ones online.

The fire devastated the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the small hours of New Year's Day. Confirmed video show the roof structure being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are raised in celebration.

Emergency services have stated that it could take an extended period to identify the victims of the tragedy, which killed four dozen individuals and wounded another over a hundred. Officials noted on the latest update that 113 of the injured have been identified, with the process still underway to identify the other six.

In the interim, families and friends have been posting on online platforms to plead for clues about their missing relatives who were in attendance that night.

Appeals for the Missing

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are currently unknown, according to an heartfelt request from his mother.

The resident of a town near the city, informed a local newspaper that she had returned to the city to see if he was in the medical facility, while his other parent did the same in the capital, but did not locate him.
