Liverpool's Star Offers Statement to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones

Curtis Jones has revealed that Salah apologised to the group of players after the controversy from his recent interview.

The Fallout

He was omitted from a vital match subsequent to criticising the club and stating his relationship with manager had broken down.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”

Arne Slot has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.

Team Unity

He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” he continued.

Jones also implied that a competitor wanting to play is a positive trait. “I get that there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”

Team Form

The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the games following the interview fallout. He feels the forward's comments were not intended to harm the team.

“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a desire to win,” he finished. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, playing well and on a positive run.”
