The young driver, who comes from a mixed Swedish-Indian background, is set to become team-mate to New Zealander Liam Lawson at the junior outfit VCARB. This driver musical chairs means Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda exiting the grid following a five-year stint. Who is Arvid Lindblad? Arvid Lindblad took part in FP1 for the Silverstone and Mexican Grands Prix in the current season. The youngster was identified as a potential future star by Red Bull since he was 12 years old. Talking about the company's young driver programme, a senior Red Bull figure previously said that Lindblad "seems extremely gifted", commending his "natural quickness". Red Bull has been working since last year to ready Lindblad for his likely F1 debut in 2026, including appearances in F1 practice sessions at Silverstone and Mexico City.
