Jude Bellingham Functioned in a forward role down the right while also did plenty of the hard yards. Displayed moments of class and dragged an attempt over. Replaced in the closing stages for Rogers, his rival, after being booked. 7

The winger Was presented with England’s clearest opportunity before halftime, his shot well saved by the opposing goalkeeper. With a teammate staying deep, it fell to him to provide width down the right side although his balls into the box were inconsistent. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. Six

The captain The difference-maker with his two more strikes at international level. The first a trademark close-range tap-in and his next a classy finish with his head having drifted away away from the opposition. At 32, he continues to improve with the national team are strong contenders next summer with him up top. 8
